COTTON SATEEN FABRIC
Cotton sateen is a satin armor fabric with a high brightness. This fabric is suitable for the realization of luxurious underwear. Sateen fabric is braided with short fibers yarns, as cotton and rayon. Thanks to the procedure of satin weaving, sateen has the same softness and brightness of silk, although it is made of yarns. Usually, cotton or rayon are carded, brushed or mercerized in order to obtain its typical silkiness. The fabric, thanks to its brightness and because it is pleasant to the touch, is used in the manufacturing of evening dresses, shirts, linings, underwear and nightwear.
