REAL LEATHER AND FAUX LEATHER ADVANTAGES
Modern eco leather is an excellent compromise because it achieves the same features of real leather and the difference between the two is almost indistinguishable.
First of all, it promotes transpiration, preventing the creation of fungus, moulds and all those micro-organisms that proliferate in damp environments.
In addition, thanks to its structure, it has heat insulating properties and is also a good electrical conductor.
Moreover, it is beautiful and soft to the touch.
WATERPROOF FAUX LEATHER
With the passing of time this eco leather assumes an "aged" look, ic can darken but this makes it even more beautiful.
SYNTHETIC LEATHER OR ECO LEATHER
Synthetic leather or faux leather is an industrially derived material.
It can be a totally synthetic product, or it can also be a fabric over which a synthetic, plastic material such as polyurethane has been coated on its surface (this is the case with the designation PU synthetic leather).
The finishes are many and are imprinted to imitate perfectly the features of genuine leather.
Its advantages are many: it is waterproof, resistant and definitely requires less care and maintenance.
How to clean faux leather?
To clean faux leather properly, use a damp microfibre cloth by wiping with circular movements over the entire surface, especially where there are traces of dirt.
Then use a soft dry cloth so that there aren't stains or halos.
If there are stubborn stains, you can use marseille soap and warm water.
A good home remedy is vinegar, which is unbeatable against stubborn stains.

How to clean an eco leather sofa?
If the sofa is not much dirty, it will be enough to use a little cleansing milk on a soft cloth, wiping it vigorously with rotating movements.
If there are stains, it will be sufficient to only treat them.
However, there are types of eco leather that require the use of a specific product, but in this case it will be indicated on the delivery note of your sofa.
How to clean a real leather sofa?
If the dirt is dried and it is dust or something similar, we recommend to vacuum it first, resting it without rubbing because you would eventually scratch the surface.
A half liter of water should be added to neutral liquid soap and passed over the leather with a soft cloth, making circular movements.
