VELVET UPHOLSTERY FABRIC
The fabric originally came from the West and in Italy, during the Fourteenth century, and began to spread among wealthy classes. It is made with a loom with very thin yarns, using two warps and a weave. Velvet can be made both of natural or synthetic fibres. Among the most precious ones we find silky velvet, but cotton velvet remains the most popular one.
